Tour of China I reached the finale in the heart of China – Chongqing City with wide applauses from enthusiastic audiences. All eyes on the yellow jersey winner Kamil Gradek, the first timer for China. “I didn’t expect to achieve so much at Tour of China, but we are a strong team and have won stages in a week. I am sure we will produce more results in Tour of China II !” The 23-year-old Polish youngster has a humble attitude, in the meantime firm determination to reach higher in the upcoming days.
Try, try, try and finally made it – The Best Sprinter of Tour of China I, Boris Shpilevsky of Taiwan’s RTS-Santic Team, has striked the podium three times to get second place before he eventually bagged the much coveted stage win, at the very last stage of Tour of China I. Having shouldered the blue jersey (a.k.a. the Best Sprinter) for many days, Shpilevsky had the best legs and luck to claim supremacy in sprint in the final day and received a resounding cheer from every single audience at the stage.
RANKING Helmets’ sponsorship beneficiaries Amore e Vita team worked very well together as the leader Mattia Gavazzi took one stage win, while climber Simone Stortoni, fast man Antonio Di Battista and the promising young sprinter was named respectively in KOM and Points Classifications. Let us be reminded that the Ukrainian team has come to China “ to win as many stages as possible”, and look forward to their performances in the next days!
Hailing from Kazakhstan the promising land of cycling, Nazar Jumabekov returns to China again to polish his skills. Ranked top 20 at one of the world’s hardest races - Tour of Qinghai Lake last year, the Kazakh cyclist is leading the motivated Wuxi Jilun for more achievements in the upcoming Tour of China II.
