The very first stage spanned 113km, the circuit brought last year’s Best Young Rider, Australian Jesse Kerrison up onto the top of the podium, “I have made a lot of progress from last year, I am able to win with confidence now”, said the promising 20-year-old. Competitive Alois Kankovsky and Boris Shpilevsky completed the podium, proving their dominance at fast stages.
