The 5th Tour of Taihu lake features high speed, therefore has attracted top sprinters from around the world to Eastern China to battle it out towards the end of the season. RANKING Helmets accompanies the contour as the sole helmet sponsor indispensable to the safety of the professional cyclists. Jersey winners have been given the bright-color and ultra-light helmets, 6 out of the 20 squads braved the challenging 1085km of 9 stages having unique team issues of RANKING Helmets on their heads.

This year’s Tour of Taihu offered not only for the established fast men opportunities to earn honor, but also for the motivated young riders room to grow and stage to shine. Among the 32 young riders from 14 countries, it was worth noting that Turkish Ahmet Örken (Torku ?ekerspor) and his teammate Fatih Kele? finished the race top 2 and 5.
Being regarded one of the most promising star in Asia Tour, Ahmet Örken was top 8 finishers for 6 times, made it to the third place at 1 stage, and wore the blue jersey for one day. The Turkish team leader’s hard work had paid off. Thanks to the efforts in the daily breakaway and great results, Torku ?ekerspor impressed the contour by finishing 5th per team classification.

As for most of the teams the season officially ends at Tour of Taihu Lake.
